CEO of Yoh Named One of Philadelphia's Top '40 Under 40'

The annual list, compiled by the Philadelphia Business Journal, recognizes a select group of young business leaders committed to professional excellence and community involvement.
Yoh, 35, was selected for transforming the company his grandfather founded in 1940 and branded with the family name, into an innovative national leader in high end staffing and recruitment, and a principal force in the outsourcing industry. Most notably, Bill Yoh was instrumental in creating and launching the Yoh Exchange, a ground-breaking Web-based portal that incorporates staffing, planning, administration, policy and profile management, and on-site customer support into a user-friendly, end-to-end online HR solution.
The Yoh Exchange has become a crucial HR management platform for more than 5,000 contractors and hiring managers, and has played an instrumental role in driving Yoh's revenue to record levels. At the same time, employers report considerable improvements in their approval process, time-to-fill ratios, and hiring transactions as a result of using the Yoh Exchange. In 2005 alone, the Yoh Exchange generated more than $149 million in online sales.
Bill Yoh's leadership extends beyond the workplace to the Philadelphia community. He maintains a Board of Directors seat and has played an instrumental role in several initiatives at The Haverford School, a private all-boys school in Haverford, Pa., and at Council for Relationships, the nation's oldest relationship counseling and training organization.
